SONG - I Love You, Adeline

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, something immediately became important to me. This was to be our fourth child, but first daughter. I adore my sons, and love so very much who they've become. A little girl was a whole new adventure!

Even before she was born, I wanted Adeline to know how deeply loved and wanted she was. I wanted her to feel that love from the very beginning. So I did what felt most natural to me - I wrote her a song.

"I Love You, Adeline" was the first music she ever heard. It became a welcome letter from me to her. A way to say, “We’re so glad you’re here,” before she even arrived.

Each lyric came from a place of deep love and wonder. I wrote it while imagining the little moments we would share - tiny fingers holding mine, bedtime stories, grassy jeans from playing outside, and all the questions she’ll ask one day. It’s also a prayer for her journey, a reminder that she’s not alone and that her family will always be by her side.'
